The Project

Beep Away is a simple way to help the visually impaired to identify obstacles above the waistline that stand in their way. Adapting quite common radio frequency technology, the product has two components. A transmitter that is fixed in the identified dangerous obstacles and a built-in receiver in a bracelet, which will be thus carried by the person. When the receiver is approaching the transmitter, this is, when the person approaches a marked danger, a signal is received in the receiving part of the product which in turn emits a beep sound,  alerting to the presence of danger in its users way. The user can then proceed with caution knowing that a danger is nearby. So with this product these people have a chance to avoid these dangers.
